This beautiful Christine 1958 Plymouth Fury in 1:18 scale die-cast collectible car has been personally hand-signed by the 1983 film's director, John Carpenter during his autograph signing with Celebrity Authentics. Car measures approximately 11.75" x 4.25" x 3" in bone-chilling detail with operable headlights, doors, hood. Manufactured by Auto World and packed in a window box measuring 13" x 6" x 5". Licensed product of the Chrysler Group LLC. The film version of King's novel, the source material for Carpenter, shows that the evil spirit surrounding the car was present on the day it was built. Unpopular nerd Arnie Cunningham (Keith Gordon) buys a 1958 Plymouth Fury, which he names Christine. Arnie develops an unhealthy obsession with the car, to the alarm of his jock friend, Dennis Guilder (John Stockwell). After bully Buddy Repperton (William Ostrander) defaces Christine, the auto restores itself to perfect condition and begins killing off Buddy and his friends. Determined to stop the deaths, Dennis and Arnie's girlfriend, Leigh Cabot (Alexandra Paul), decide to destroy Christine.
